Quick BI

Quick BI is a Business Intelligence (BI) tool offered by Alibaba Cloud. By integrating Relyt with Quick BI, you can effortlessly generate and distribute reports and dashboards using your data.

Prerequisites

• You have obtained the DW username and password for connecting to the target DW service unit.

• The DW user has the CONNECT privilege on the target database in the target DW service unit.

• You have obtained an Alibaba Cloud account with an active subscription to the Quick BI service.

Procedure

1. Sign in to the Alibaba Cloud Quick BI Console.

2. Go to the Create Data Source page.

3. On the page that is displayed, click Show More and select PostgreSQL.

   

4. In the Configure Connection step, fill in the Relyt data source information.

   

   The following table describes the parameters.

   Parameter	Required	Description
   Database source	Yes	The source of the database. Set it to User-defined.
   Name	Yes	The display name of the data source in Quick BI.
   Database Address	Yes	The domain name of the target DW service unit.
   Port	Yes	The port to connect to the target DW service unit. It is fixed to 5432.
   Database	Yes	The name of the target database.
   Schema	No	The name of the schema in the target database.
   Username	Yes	The name of the DW user used to connect to the database.
   Password	Yes	The password for the DW user used to connect to the database.

   
   

5. Ensure that the IP addresses in the Copy Whitelist area are included in the allowlist of the target DW service unit.

6. Click Test Connection. After the "The data source can be connected" message is displayed, click OK.
